New York Wedding Photographer
Documentary storytelling and true-to-colour editing for weddings across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester and the Hudson Valley.
New York, Start To Finish
I'm Danielle Wu, a New York wedding photographer shooting across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester and the Hudson Valley. My approach is documentary first: the laugh before your ceremony, the quiet tear during your vows, the champagne toast nobody planned for the camera.
I work calm and mostly out of the way. A little direction when a moment needs it — otherwise your day unfolds the way it actually happened, and that's what ends up in the gallery. Every image is edited true-to-colour, so a photograph from your wedding still looks like your wedding ten years from now.
Editorial portraits sit alongside the candid ones — the light on your veil, your dad's hand on your shoulder before you walk out. See how that plays out across real weddings in the full portfolio.
What's Included
The elements that show up in every wedding I shoot, whatever the venue.
Collections
Four collections. Starting figures on the page, not behind a quote form. Three hours at City Hall through to a ten-hour day. Full breakdown on the pricing page.

08
Getting ready through the reception. Enough runway that nothing gets rushed and no part of the day goes unphotographed.
From $4,500
10
From the first hairpin to the final song. For multi-location days, cultural ceremonies, and late receptions.
From $5,500
Now booking 2026 and 2027 weddings. Most couples reserve nine to eighteen months out.
Selected Work
Colour sits next to black and white the way it does in the finished gallery. Nothing here was staged twice. More of it lives in the portfolio.
