New York Wedding Photographer

A New York wedding photographer who shoots the day as it happens

Documentary storytelling and true-to-colour editing for weddings across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester and the Hudson Valley.

New York, Start To Finish

The short version, from your New York wedding photographer

I'm Danielle Wu, a New York wedding photographer shooting across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester and the Hudson Valley. My approach is documentary first: the laugh before your ceremony, the quiet tear during your vows, the champagne toast nobody planned for the camera.

I work calm and mostly out of the way. A little direction when a moment needs it — otherwise your day unfolds the way it actually happened, and that's what ends up in the gallery. Every image is edited true-to-colour, so a photograph from your wedding still looks like your wedding ten years from now.

Editorial portraits sit alongside the candid ones — the light on your veil, your dad's hand on your shoulder before you walk out. See how that plays out across real weddings in the full portfolio.

Seven frames from real weddings

Colour sits next to black and white the way it does in the finished gallery. Nothing here was staged twice. More of it lives in the portfolio.
